We Begin With You

There isn't a formula for our work together.

We begin with you—your body, your lived experience, and what is present in this season of your life.

Together, we create a brave, compassionate space to slow down, listen, explore, rest, and reconnect with yourself.

You don't have to arrive with the right words, know exactly what you need, or have a plan for what needs to change.

We meet what is here.

WHO IS THIS WORK FOR?

Who Is This Work For? People find their way to this work for many different reasons. I often work with people navigating overwhelm, the effects of trauma, or chronic stress who are longing to feel more connected to themselves and their bodies. I also specialize in the complicated relationships we can develop with body image, food, and movement. You may have spent years criticizing or trying to change your body, cycling through diets or wellness plans, struggling to know when to move and when to rest, or simply knowing that the relationship you have with your body isn't the one you want to carry forward. Others come specifically for Ayurvedic wellness support and a more personalized, preventative approach to everyday wellbeing. Together, we may explore food and mindful eating, movement, sleep and daily rhythms, seasonal practices, stress, energy, digestion, and hormone-supportive lifestyle practices in ways that make sense for the life you actually live. And sometimes these paths overlap. You don't have to decide which category you belong in before reaching out. You may simply know that something feels difficult, something is changing, or you want a different relationship with yourself. You don't need to become ready for this work. We begin with who and where you are.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?

but really? what are we going to do?

There isn't a script for our work together because there isn't a script for being human.

We begin by arriving and noticing what is present for you that day.

Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we move. We may explore breath, sensation, boundaries, voice, beliefs, creativity, or rest. Depending on what feels supportive, I may draw from somatic practices, Yoga and Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, breath and movement, creative practices, ritual, rest, or energy work.

Our work is responsive rather than prescriptive.

I listen to what you're sharing, notice alongside you, and offer possibilities. Together, we pay attention to what happens next. If something doesn't feel supportive, we change course. If something needs more time, we don't have to rush past it. Sometimes doing less is exactly what is needed.

You won't be expected to tell your whole story, perform vulnerability, have a breakthrough, or experience your body in a particular way.

We meet what is here and listen together for what might come next.

HOW DO YOU WORK?

I don't believe my role is to know your body better than you do. My role is to bring my experience, education, intuition, attention, and care into relationship with your lived experience. I listen. I notice. I offer. We get curious together. The practices we use may change from session to session because you change from session to session. Over time, our work is less about collecting more tools and more about strengthening your ability to notice yourself, hear yourself, honor your boundaries, recognize what feels supportive, and trust your own experience. I don't have a formula for you. I have a way of listening. My hope isn't that you become better at following my guidance. It's that you become more able to hear your own.

What do you mean by a brave space?

You may notice that I use the words brave space rather than promising a “safe space.”

I believe safety is personal, embodied, and can change from moment to moment. I cannot determine what safety feels like for another person.

What I can do is be intentional about the conditions we create together.

Our work is grounded in consent, choice, dignity, clear boundaries, accessibility, relationship, and respect. You can say yes or no, ask for another option, change your mind, pause, rest, or decide that something isn't right for you.

Bravery here does not mean pushing through discomfort or overriding your body's limits.

Sometimes bravery is speaking. Sometimes it's saying no. Sometimes it's asking for support, trying something new, changing your mind, or choosing to rest.

You remain the authority on your body and lived experience.

Interested in Working Together?

I'm currently taking a sabbatical from in-person 1:1 work. This season is giving me space to rest, write my book, deepen my own practice, and thoughtfully listen for what the next chapter of Rising Strong Wellness wants to become. I'm also taking time to gather and put language around the work I've been practicing for many years—bringing together somatic healing, Yoga, Ayurveda, rest, creativity, energy work, and the deeply relational way I approach 1:1 support. I'm not rushing that process. If something you've read here resonates with you, you're welcome to join my 1:1 waitlist. There is no commitment, and you don't need to know exactly what you'd like to work on. Joining simply lets me know you're interested. When I begin opening space for 1:1 work again, you'll be among the first to hear from me. Sometimes knowing you'd like support is enough of a place to begin.

Thank You
